DOWN TO EARTH FERTILIZERS
Premium Quality, Natural & Organic Fertilizer
We take pride in providing effective and environmentally friendly products for plant care and crop fertilization. Our long-standing partnerships, specialized manufacturing processes, and deep commitment to honest and ethical organic products allow us to offer our customers true, premium-quality fertilizers, garden minerals, and potting soil, many which display the OMRI logo for Organic use. For more than 30 years, Down To Earth™ has been carefully formulating our fertilizers, soil amendments, potting soils, and composts from the very best sources of organic plant nutrients in ideal proportions, without the use of synthetics, growth stimulants, or low-quality fillers, such as poultry waste. So, whether it’s one of our multi-purpose fertilizer blends, single-ingredient fertilizers, or specialized soil amendments, you can be confident that you are providing your customers, garden, or farm with the highest quality product available. Our business is located in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
Down To Earth, or, DTE™ Single Ingredient Natural & Organic Fertilizers are used for specific needs in certain stages of a plant’s development. For example, use a high-nitrogen source to give heavy-feeding plants an additional boost early in the season, or, to promote big, beautiful blooms on your flowering plants, like roses and perennials, you can use a high-phosphorus fertilizer. Perfectly customizable, you can mix and match Down To Earth Single Ingredient Fertilizers on their own or use them with other Down To Earth Fertilizers to create specialized fertilizer recipes to precisely control your plant's nutrition at every stage of the growth cycle. Many Down To Earth fertilizers are approved for use in organic crop production.
Fertilizer Blends save gardeners time and labor by offering a wide variety of single ingredients in pre-mixed proportions for more general needs around the home and garden. A great advantage of organic, multipurpose blends is that they can last in the soil for several months, continuing to fertilize plants and enrich the soil long after initial application.
Our Down To Earth Prilled Dolomite Lime, Garden Gypsum and Garden Lime provide just the right amount of minerals ground into ultra-fine powder and then formed into uniform mini granules (prills) for easy spreading and rapid reaction time. And they come in convenient, reasonably sized 5 lb. boxes. We can’t emphasize enough how important it is to replenish your soil with these calcium products. It is truly the missing link in revitalizing your otherwise “healthy” naturally fertilized soil. Down To Earth Prilled Minerals can be used on all varieties of landscapes and gardens to provide primary nutrients for optimum plant growth and development, increase microbial activity, resupply vital cations, and improve the condition of your soil – All in a useful quantity, at a reasonable price and in a realistic timeline.
Down To Earth’s Natural and Organic Bat Guano 7-3-1 is a fertilizer rich in nitrogen, phosphorus and potash and provides essential plant nutrition for vigorous vegetative growth and prolific fruit and flower development. DTE Bat Guano 7-3-1 is highly effective mixed into soils, applied as a side dress or steeped to make a potent guano tea or foliar spray. Use Down To Earth’s high-phosphorus Seabird 0-11-0 guano or Island Phosphate to dramatically increase both the amount and size of blooms throughout the flowering period for all indoor and outdoor plants. Strawberries, melons, vegetables and all types of flowers will benefit from mid-season applications to improve yields, quality and flavor while also enhancing the beneficial bacteria activity in your garden soil.
DTE™ Potting Media lets you strengthen the complex soil environment of your garden to promote healthy, vibrant plant growth. Good soil provides aeration, proper water absorption, and plenty of space for roots to expand, which allows plants to grow at a natural pace and produce the best-tasting, most nutritious foods for you and your family. DTE™ Potting Media can help develop poor soil structures, change the pH levels, add water-holding capacity, introduce inorganic nutrients, and stimulate microbial life. Many DTE™ Potting Media are approved for use in organic crop production.

Apply all these products so they come into direct contact with existing or emerging plant roots.
